Living the Dream

Karen and BobWelcome to our adventure!

For years, my life has been dedicated to helping people put down roots. As a Certified Mortgage Loan Advisor, I’ve had the immense privilege of guiding countless families through the exciting journey of home purchases and helping with refinance strategies that improved my clients' overall finances.

While I'm not yet ready to retire, I am ready to take action on our dream of traveling on wheels. With our two furry co-pilots, Ella Mae and Jake Truman, we're taking our remote work on the road in our Grand Design Imagine RV. On this blog, you'll get a front-row seat to our adventures, complete with our favorite pictures, gear reviews, and the lessons we learn along the way.

We want to be upfront: you may see some recommendations of products that have worked well for us.  They may have direct links for you to purchase if you feel it may also help you with  your adventure.  These links are affiliate links. This means we might earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. We promise to only share things we truly believe in and that have helped us on our own journey.

Welcome to our Travel Adventure Blog!  We're the Jones family, and we're figuring it out one mile at a time. We hope our journey inspires you to find your own adventure, big or small. Thanks for following along!

Zion RV Trip- May 2024

This time, we took a week-long RV adventure through the stunning landscapes of Utah visiting the Zion National Park and even had a private tour to the Slot Canyons.

Our journey took us through several beautiful spots, but the highlight was definitely Zion. The sheer power and magnificence of nature there are breathtaking.

We explored the local towns, enjoyed some fantastic local food, and just soaked in the serene atmosphere. The parts of Utah we visited were so clean, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly.

The tour to the famous Slot Canyons was awesome! While we were exploring, our furry travel companions, Jake and Ella, were having their own fun at a local doggy day camp.

On our way home, we made a quick stop at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. While it was beautiful, we have to say that in our experience, the South Rim offers an even more spectacular view.

We took another route home through Fredonia-Vermillion Cliffs Scenic Road, a 92-mile highway (State Route 89A) that runs from Bitter Springs, Arizona, through the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, and ends in Fredonia, Arizona. What a spectacular drive that was! This was our longest trip yet! Another incredible time exploring our beautiful country!
